Rachael, I think you are aware, but as a reminder:
In the years before 1944 elections for officers were held every three years. The seven serving 1941-1944 were elected 10/1, 1941 (YB 1942, 226, 227)
The appointment of bro Covington was made by the board, and confirmed by election in 1944.
