Is there something you don't have?

I'm sure there's lots. For example, anyone out there with the missing two years of Bible Examiner, and the missing years of Herald of the Morning, please supply...

Ever the optimist, but very rare material is still turning up after all these years, to which both Bruce and Rachael can testify.

What years are missing from the Bible Examiner I have copies from several issues from 1848 and 1849

Storrs closed down Bible Examiner when he was involved with the Life and Advent union. When he split with them he re-started BE in 1871. The first two years (fall 1871 to fall 1873) are missing. In October 1873 BE became a monthly and copies were bound – hence all survive from then on. But 96 issues from when it was a weekly paper for 1871-73 are missing. (To see check out this history have a look at BE for October 1873 page 3.)

This is a considerable loss, because the Russell family feature quite regularly from April 1874 onwards, and names like Owen, Ongley, Stetson occur before that in the extant file. Who knows what might be in the missing years of 1871-73?

The missing Heralds include 1876 (part) – 1878 (part). Although it was announced that they would just send out Three Worlds as a part-work over this period, there were some other issues, because Peter’s in Theocratic Kingdom quotes from them. Find those and you could find lost articles by CTR.
