Smithfield Street was near one of the Russell stores. Obviously not the most salubrious part of town. There is a certain humor in the naivety of a gentleman who goes into a dark alley at an hour off midnight to be shown “some pretty girls.” There is dumb, dumber and Mr Albert Stanley...
