THE STORY IS IN THE DETAILS
He was 1,79 Meter. Russell was not a midget. Sorry Roberto
You are right Bernard Brabenec, Russell was 1,79. It was my fault. Thanks.Just a note: I didn't call Russell, a midget. As a matter of fact, in my life I never called a person, midget, negro, etc. A person is a person, stop.
I'm certain Bernard does not know that "Midget" is usually viewed as a pejorative in the United States. It used to be a common, popular term for body-proportionate dwarfism. At 4 feet 10 inches, I am on the edge of "normal" and what used to be called "midget." I do not mind the term midget, but most Little People do.Bernard wasn't suggesting that you called anyone by a pejorative. And I know you would not.
Blue eyes? I can't read it properly.
The original (for eyes) reads: Large hazel-blue.
By they way, do you happen to know Rutherford's eyes colour? I remember reading a newspaper article that stated they were grey and another one that they were hazel.
This probably does help much, but Rutherford's passport applications for 1910, 1913, 1920 and 1923 have all survived. They all say the color of his eyes is "dark".
