A photo found on ebay. Judging by the cars, this is early in 1950s. Can you add to this?

I live near the Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia, CA, USA.
However, I don't recall there being a small hill directly behind the track, though there is one about 1/3 a mile north.
Are there any other indicating factors from Annie that this may be the Santa Anita Race Track?
Thank you for the follow up picture. I am still not convinced this is the Santa Anita Race Track.
The San Gabriel mountains in the colored picture are a few thousand feet high, whereas in the original picture, you see hills, not a mountain range.
Though, the hills may be hills directly behind the race track in the colorized picture.
