That isn't by any chance a photograph of the infamous Mathilde von Zech, is it?

Can't answer that yet, Latecomer. But I don't think so.

Thank you German Girl.

Now, I have to establish which of the German Zechs she is.

May I suggest, very clever German Girl, a little touch-up to your faithful transcription :

Melanie von Zech was born in October 29, 1880 in Hamburg.
Her father was Ernst Carl Friedrich von Zech (1840-1921) and he was the brother of
"our" Otto von Zech (1845-1908). So Melanie was the niece of Otto von Zech.

That's all
Bernhard
