Mein liebes Lenchen und

dir noch eine kleine freude be-
reiten, eine hübsche unteressante.
August dieser ……. erinnerte
mich an meine Modell, da wollte
doch ihr Hans nochmal eine Auf-
nahme machen (,) ich hätte den
Wunsch ein Bild davon bei mir
zu haben, damit mir meine Arbeit
nicht ganz aus dem Sinn kommt
aber nur wenn es möglich ist.
Nochmal herzl. Grüße u. (und) K. (Küsse) dein lieber
……… u. (und) Vater unseres Herbertels.

My dear Lenchen (little Helen) and little child!
With this, I want to give you still a little joy, a nice, interesting one.
August this ….. reminded me of my model, her Hans wanted to take a photo/a shot of her as far as I know, and I would like to have a picture of that with me so that I won´t completely forget my work altogether, but only if it´s possible.
Again warm regards and kisses
your dear …. and father of our little Herbert

Thanks as always. Very helpful. Can we find his name? It appears to be across the top [?] M. Voit.

Sorry for the typos, being in a hurry yesterday; of course it´s Freude and interessante.

Yes, the name is
Abs. (Absender) (small stamp) Matrose W. Voigt, 2. Mar. (Marine? above Carte Postale I can´t read) ..... ....... 2. Btl, (Bataillon) 8. Komp (Kompanie)

Which would be
Expeditor sailor W. Voigt, 2nd marine (just guessing) , ..... 2nd battalion, 2nd company.

By the way, the friendly diminutive -el (Kindel, Herbertel) is typical for the writer´s region.
