I do not anticipate adding to this blog any time soon. It is a rich resource for those interested in Watch Tower history. Many of my current readers have not reviewed past posts. You may find them interesting.
I am considering shutting down the blog, leaving it as is with no further posts or comments. I am open to your comments. As I see it, the blog has outlived its usefulness. There are few comments, few readers, and little interest. Some of you loved Rachael while she was blog editor; me not so much. I don't know why; she was certainly mouthier than I am.
If I continue the blog, I need to hear from the other blog editors. Do you wish to continue? And if there is a problem between us, I'd rather you make that plain than drift into silence.

There has never been any problem between us, but sometimes life and other stuff gets in the way of research. I have one or two bits to post here in due course, but didn't want to knock your requests for comments and information off the top spot, which is the important function this blog serves for your Separate Identity series. I am not a blog editor but you know that I always supported your blog whenever I could.
So I hope you will change your decision to stopp it.

as other have said I only make a comment when I can add something I have added research in the past and bought the books it would be interested to know how many who read the blog for free and get all this great research buy the books agape richard
(From Benek): The number of readers and visitors to the blog is important, not the number of comments. I read almost everything and some things are useful to me. It is worth continuing to post historical curiosities on the blog.
I read everything on this blog. I originally stumbled upon it by accident. Ended up buying the two Separate Identity Books plus the 1st volume with the sheep and 144,000 on the cover as well. It was through this blog that I came across Bernhard Brabenec's books and now have bought all his including both Editions of "Who's Who.' It is because of this blog I have come to appreciate the value of original sauce research and thoroughly enjoyed all of what it has produced. It has certainly improved my understanding of early Bible Student Movement history.
I have sent things through in the past as I have come across them and will continue to do so. Certainly hope the site doesn't fold as I would certainly miss it.

Please don't close this blog. I have just received your book (Volume one) and I am looking forward to reading it.
This blog has so many interesting topics that I have not read yet. I have only commented twice but I would like to participate more in the future. The thing is, as someone already mentioned, time is a factor and prevents some from commenting as much as they would like, me included.

I hope the blog continues. I have been very busy caring for my elderly father, and have had little time for other things. I opened the blog up for the first time in many months, and the articles are fascinating and enjoyable. I hope to be able to comment more and contribute what I can, even if it is in small ways.
Thank you again for your hard work. I have been following the blog for many years, and am constantly amazed at the breadth and depth of the research, and the outstanding writing.

Your research over the many years is most valuable and I exhort you to continue by means of this blog which contains so much that is fascinating and illuminating about the History and the Biblical Theology of those Early Bible Students now properly known as Jehovah's Witnesses. An area or research that is of interest to me is the origins of our Bible Chronology and that of the Age to Come movement and the earliest pioneers of the millennial movement about the time of the Reformation.
