The very first mention of Wales in ZWT was in 1891 when CTR preached in Liverpool and some from Wales attended. But that would have been North Wales, geographically divided from South Wales and Cardiff (which was an English stronghold). So this reference to CTR in the Cardiff paper is an interesting one. The work in South Wales (and Cardiff) did not begin until the start of the 20th century (according to the 1904 annual report) and the first known congregation was established in Cardiff by 1906.
