Here's what I have so far; as you can see, there is a long passage I simply can't make out at this time. I hope this will be a good start, though.

I sprang out of bed, & am now writing you before [my-crossed out] breakfast, so as not to break in upon my three hours work after that meal. Then for positive & to fill in my evenings, I [?] [?] [?] [?] & [?] in [?] school of long [?]. Now let us talk of some thing else in which I hope to interest you, as it will interest us both. She has some of the worst handwriting I've run across, other than my own. Here's what I have now:

I sprang out of bed, and am now writing you before breakfast, so as not to break in upon my three hours work after that meal. Then for pastime & to fill in my evenings, I am tutoring French and German in Stern’s School of languages. Now let us talk of some thing else in which I hope to interest you, as it will interest us both. When Bro Joe was with us in the fall, we were talking of the isolation, desolation and general misery attendant upon a country life in these present

Stern's School of Languages was in Brooklyn NY.
