The article mentioned that services for his father would be conducted by "R. H. Hollister of Dayton, O." I wonder if that is the same Robert Hollister pictured in the "Proclaimers" book.
I believe this is the same Hollister, correct full name Reuben Robert Hollister. He left association with the IBSA as did Dr Jones, and died aged 96 in 1980.

I was "Googling" to see if Dr. Jones wrote "God's Great Gift" during or after his association with Watch Tower, and I stumbled across this:
