What is the first picture? What "resting place" does it refer to?

The resting place was the sleeping accommodations at the 1922 Cedar Point Convention. These cards were placed in the rooms. Notice around the perimeter of the card is a design that is three letters. A D V

These letters were also in the convention hall posted on the support pillars of the building which left the friends wondering what the letters stood for. As the convention unfolded, they realized they stood for Advertise The King and His Kingdom.
