Help solve a mystery?

A brief article in the January 1861 issue of Prophetic Times is signed with the initials D. G. M. I would like to know who this is. Anyone find the answer?

I did some searching on this one. Unfortunately it seems that many of the contributed articles in the magazines only have initials. There isn't a lot to go on.

I did find these initials in other similarly themed prophetic magazines of the era. Whether or not it is the same person we'll probably never know.
