Your work

I am interested in your personal research. Accordingly, I will entertain submissions for a blog post relevant to Russell-era history. While this blog is copyright protected, you retain all rights to your article. Here are some guidelines:

1. Your article should be well-researched and fact based. Speculation may guide research but should not be the substance of your article.

2. I prefer that we publish under your actual name. If you must use a pseudonym, tell me so in the submission email.

3. Your article must be footnoted. My books and this blog are based on verifiable research. Blogger turns footnotes to endnotes. Use the format found in Separate Identity.

Books are Author, Title, Publisher, Place of Publication, Year published, pages cited.
Articles are Author, Title of Article, Name of publication, date published, pages.

4. Your article must be in Times New Roman font, single spaced, a ‘tab’ indentation [hit the tab key instead of the space bar].

5. Illustrations are useful but not required.

6. I do not have time or inclination to fix grammar. However, if English isn’t your native tongue, we will work with you to put your submission in acceptable format.

7. This must be your original work. Quotations are fine; just do not plagiarize.

8. Submission is no guarantee of acceptance. I am the final judge.
