Mostly Away

A doctor's visit resulted in a quick trip to the hospital for surgery. So, if there are unresolved questions on the blog, or you've sent me an email that I haven't answered, be patient. I am home, but I am leading a very restricted life for at least the next two weeks.

When I was a young man, I thought growing old would make me wise. I'm afraid all it did was bring infirmity.

While I am up and able to type this, I should note that I still need material relevant to Maria Jourdan Westmoreland, later Maria Washington, especially if it relates to her preaching and mission work in Atlanta, Georgia between 1894 and her death in 1900.
